Utilization Review Clinician Opportunity -

Arbour Hospital is seeking a Full-time Utilization Review Coordinator to join our skilled and dedicated team of psychiatric professionals, who provide service excellence to our patients in a range of inpatient and partial programs and services. This is a 40 hour per week, salaried position.

We have proudly served the residents of the greater Boston area since 1909. Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare. We are an important community resource for a wide range of vital behavioral healthcare services. We treat primary psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and constantly strive to meet the needs of our communities with treatment that address individualized behavioral health needs. We stand ready to provide compassionate care through inpatient treatment and a strong continuum of aftercare services, community-based programs, and day treatment.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial precertification and concurrent reviews for patients in the inpatient and partial hospital settings
• Collaborate with members of multi-disciplinary treatment teams to formulate justification for continued treatment using medical necessity criteria

Requirements

• Master’s in psychology, social work or related field and clinical license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) preferred
