Job Summary:
As a Training Coordinator you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's business objectives through the implementation of effective training programs. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining training records, as well as developing and implementing new training schedules based on position, department, and company needs.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Ensure completion of mandatory training in the facility with the support of department managers.
Maintain accurate training records, including competency matrix and training plans.
Support the creation of training materials.
Manage the Alchemy training system in the facility.
Measure the effectiveness of training using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide training management support for critical projects.
Assist Operations Teams in managing external training vendors.
Ensure employees have completed all required training in a timely manner.
Enter new hires into the Alchemy Training software system.
Track training requirements and provide weekly status reports.
Remove terminated employees from the Alchemy Training Tracker software system.
Assist with SOP and Job Aid revisions.
Maintain and publish training metrics.
Manage training matrix and send alerts for overdue and new training tasks.
Collaborate with relevant teams to develop a training schedule that achieves 100% training rate without impacting production.
Maintain skills training matrix for skilled positions to advance employee skills and foster cross-functional knowledge.
Coordinate meeting times and spaces for training programs with Operations Teams and external training vendors.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Availability and flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
- LEAN background desired.
