$23 / hour
What You Will Do In This Role - Collaborate with leadership to identify the training needs of new hires and deliver effective training solutions to meet those needs
- Create and maintain individual learning plans for both existing employees and new hires
- Ensure an exceptional learner experience by providing guidance and customer support throughout the employee’s learning journey
- Serve as point of contact for employee training questions and/or concerns; and support employees who have questions or need additional assistance in understanding job responsibilities
- Maintain training records, files and other necessary documentation utilizing Foley’s Learning Management System and other tracking systems
- Generate training reports and engage the functional leaders to drive accountability and ensure completion of assigned curriculum
- Conduct on-the-job training and certification of employees. Follow up on a regular, planned schedule to answer questions and verify proficiency
- Assist in developing general training instructions, checklists, visual aids, and media as needed
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.
Our Ideal Candidate - High school diploma required
- Thorough understanding of all heavy machinery repair, maintenance and diagnostics procedures
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn to effectively use company software – with training
- Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations and before groups of employees
- Comfortable communication with all levels of management and employees
- Strong planning, presentation, and organizational skills
What Will Put You Ahead - Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
- 2+ years technician/mechanic experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
