Position at JBS USA

· Responsible for monitoring MCNP sample results for E. coli 0157:H7 for trim and variety meats.

· Releasing trim and variety meats COAs to customers and in house grinds.

· Identification of associated trim combos when there is a trim positive.

· Communication with management, shipping, billing and corporate on all positive trim activity.

· Communication with management, shipping, billing, corporate and freezer on all variety meat positive activity.

· Trim and variety meat positive investigations.

· Monitoring of all trim and variety meats that are boxed or rendered.

· Monitoring of trim combo age and communications with plant management.

· Follow-up with customers on further disposition of positive products.

· Data entry for various reports.

· Back up for QA clerk and all other duties as assigned.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

·         Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English

·         Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations

·         Familiarity with computer system

·         Ability to work variable hours and excellent attendance required

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: 

·         Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.

·         401(k): eligible after 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
