Typical Duties: - Design and architect power electronics systems, including DC link dynamics
- Support manufacturing operations and automated production tests
- Mitigate issues related to supplier management and component quality
- Execute reliability engineering activities, such as FMEA, stress analysis, and tolerance analysis
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in power electronics design and development
- Hands-on experience with the full product development lifecycle of electronics hardware and design
- Ability to work with software and firmware controllers for converters and power distribution systems
- Experience with rotating machine control and design for EMC/EMI compliance
- Pre-existing knowledge of magnetic design for high-frequency applications and soft switching techniques
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with design of DC-DC converters and motor drives with power levels of up to 500kW and DC link voltages to 1000V
- Experience with Power Magnetics Design and electromagnetic concepts
- Understanding of design for fault tolerance and reliability
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $102200 - $173700
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
