Responsibilities:

1. Frontend Development Leadership:

   • Lead frontend development projects, taking ownership of technical architecture, design decisions, and implementation strategies.
   • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical challenges.

2. Technical Expertise:

   • Utilize advanced frontend technologies and frameworks to architect scalable and maintainable web applications.
   • Implement complex features and functionalities, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate design concepts and user requirements into elegant frontend solutions.
   • Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services, ensuring seamless data exchange and system interoperability.

4. Innovation and Best Practices:

   • Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the development team.
   • Champion code quality, consistency, and maintainability through the establishment of coding standards, patterns, and conventions.

5. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

   • Investigate and resolve complex frontend-related issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
   • Perform performance optimizations and debugging to enhance the overall user experience of web applications.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in frontend development are a plus.

2. Experience:

   • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development roles, with a demonstrated track record of delivering successful web applications.
   • Proven expertise in frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

3. Technical Skills:

   • Deep understanding of web standards, accessibility principles, and responsive design techniques.
   • Experience with frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
   • Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies for frontend applications (e.g., Jest, Enzyme).

4. Leadership and Communication:

   • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead development teams and collaborate across departments.
   • Experience working in Agile development environments and facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives).
