The Global Information Security (GIS) group provides services to protect the value and use of Disney’s information through collaboration, standardization, enforcement, and education across The Walt Disney Company. 

We Are Hiring! We need a Security Specialist - Project Hire to join our Team!

*This is an estimated 30-month project hire placement, with no guarantee of permanent placement.

What You Will Do

• Act as primary POC for audit evidence collection and delivery

• Follow up on action items and bring to closure

• Communicate updates, escalations, and accomplishments to leadership and stakeholders

• Act as a liaison for external/internal teams (auditors and stakeholders) and technical teams

• Learn the segment information technology general controls (ITGC) environment in order to appropriately determine if audit evidence obtained is complete and accurate

• Perform ITGC validations

• Ad hoc compliance projects

• Organize and attend stakeholder meetings

• Capture meeting notes and action items

• Create and maintain project reports/trackers

You Will Have

• 3+ years of related work experience

• Technical project experience; creating and maintaining project reports/trackers

• Experience working with Atlassian and Confluence products (Jira, Wiki)

• Experience working within a technical environment and communicating across technical and business customers

• Experience working collaboratively with engineers

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $93,400.00-$125,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
