Job Description

Job Summary: The Abeloff Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for the position of Recruiter. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania with recruiting responsibilities for sales, service, parts and administrative positions for our GMC, Kia and Nissan dealerships. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring the best talent for our Auto Group. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of successful recruiting skills and human resources duties. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with a compensation range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year. Salary will be paid biweekly. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and 401k options. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for the dealerships.
  • Utilize various recruitment sources, including job boards, social media, and professional networks to source potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications, conduct phone and in-person screenings and interviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations during the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and metrics.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of the position.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job placement centers.
  • Attend job fairs and other recruitment events to promote Abeloff as an employer of choice.
  • Be the primary person for onboarding new hires - completing paperwork for benefits, payroll and required documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the auto industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
