Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring parts are washed and painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat a variety of parts as needed
• Perform required quality checks including 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections
• Load parts correctly onto the line for maximum line capacity
• Change hanging patterns as needed
• Apply powder to parts online, using an electrostatic paint gun
• Hanging color tags for paint color changes
• Putting plugs/tape onto parts
• Use measuring devices to ensure the highest level of quality
• Sanding and/or correcting parts as needed
• Department housekeeping
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Troubleshoot as needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Experience with managing product inventory of product
• Basic knowledge of reading part blueprints and maintaining paint line functionality

Education Requirments

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understand and comply with OSHA safety requirements Knowledge of the powder coat process.
Experience with managing product inventory of product
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Stand for prolonged periods during the shift Perform repetitive motions, including wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Operate machinery and/or power tools Wear all appropriate safety gear.

Mechanically inclined. Basic computer skills Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and effective time management.

Work Hours & Schedule

• 10 hours a day, 4 days a week
• 6:00 am to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday
• Friday as needed for overtime
