Job Summary

Mather Economics is seeking an ENTRY-LEVEL Operations Analyst to join our talented team of Economics and Data Science professionals.

A successful Operations Analyst works autonomously, is proactive, and takes initiative. They exercise excellent judgment, are problem solvers, possess strong communication skills, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborates with operations and business leaders to understand management objectives and to identify relevant data and metrics.
• Supporting customers by ensuring our services are delivered on time and accurately.
• Reviewing the ticket backlog regularly and complete assigned tasks accurately and timely.
• Providing quality assurance (QA) for our output and monitor our automated QA tools, correcting the processes and data as needed.
• You will help to ensure our documentation is complete, accurate, and regularly updated.
• In addition, a more experienced Analyst will have development responsibilities including supporting team-wide initiatives: rolling out code updates, coding aspects of development projects, and customizing new scripts to function with specific datasets.
• A seasoned Analyst will also perform advanced data analysis and coding tasks, in addition to taking on client-facing deliverables.

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Information Systems, Business Admin, or related field.
• Experience working with data analysis techniques.
• Modeling and econometric experience preferred.
• Exposure to common coding languages - Stata, Python, and MySQL preferred.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Agile or Waterfall project management methods preferred. 
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

This position works out of our headquarters in the Sandy Springs area of Atlanta. This is a full-time salaried position with full health benefits, 401K, paid vacation, and an annual bonus.
