Essential Functions - Under direction, serves as an Office Coordinator performing paraprofessional secretarial and office support functions in the End-User Computing section for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT).
- Prepares complex, statistical reports, charts, spread sheets, and various other reports.
- Coordinates the completion and submission of personnel forms by supervisory staff.
- Responds to inquiries of non-technical nature utilizing system tools as an information source.
- Serves as a backup vehicle coordinator for DoIT fleet vehicles.
- Serves as a backup Telecom/IT liaison for EUC and Customer Support by submitting requests to be approved by the DoIT Agency Technology Service Requestor (ATSR).
- Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications - Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to two (2) years of secretarial/business college. '
OR - Requires completion of high school.
- Requires two (2) years of related office experience or two (2) years of independent business experience
- Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 30 words per minute
Preferred Qualifications - Two (2) years of experience providing administrative support in an office setting.
- Two (2) years of experience preparing reports and conducting data analysis utilizing Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Two (2) years of experience making travel arrangements, preparing travel vouchers, and maintaining travel and meeting schedules.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to gain and maintain effective working relationships.
- Extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
