Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced massage therapist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is well-versed in different types of massage and massage techniques, and is attentive to each client’s needs and physical condition. Responsibilities:

• Provide various massages and treatments to patients/clients as agreed upon.
• Ensure punctuality for shifts and maintain a consistent attendance record.
• Open and close treatment rooms daily, managing room turnovers efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Director of Client Experiences to oversee the check-in, check-out, and payment processes.
• Complete accurate SOAP note charting and sign all charts within 24 hours.
• Engage in marketing efforts to expand and retain client caseloads, such as participating in referral groups and contributing to social media, newsletters, website, or blogs (up to 2 hours per week paid).
• Actively promote treatments, services, and promotions offered at Soul Space.
• Uphold a professional appearance, behavior, and hygiene standards.
• Cultivate personalized relationships with regular clients and community members.
• Address patient/client inquiries and issues promptly, professionally, and courteously.
• Maintain strict confidentiality following company HIPAA policy.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Pursue annual continued education, staying abreast of industry trends, and completing ongoing massage therapy education.
• Maintain client treatment records, track progress, and adjust plans as needed.
• Prepare the massage table and necessary products before each appointment.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and team members to create a harmonious work environment.
• Consult with each client to address stress or pain concerns and recommend appropriate massage techniques and treatments.

Qualifications:

• To be considered for this role, the candidate must have graduated from an accredited Massage Therapy school.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience providing massage services to clients.
• A current Massage Therapy license issued by the Massage Board in Arizona is required for this position.
• It is essential to possess professional malpractice insurance.
• A High school GED or higher education level is necessary.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology is a must.
• Compliance with state and local laws regarding licensure is mandatory.
• Preferably, the candidate should have completed a massage therapy program.
• A minimum of one year of work experience as a massage therapist is preferred.
