About the Role:
As the Marketing & Social Media Manager, you will lead our marketing efforts and take charge of expanding our reach across multiple platforms. You'll develop and execute creative strategies that resonate with our target audience and drive real growth. This position is pivotal in shaping our online presence and broadening our influence within the life sciences sector.
As our first marketing hire, you will have a unique opportunity to design and implement the marketing strategy from the ground up, with plenty of room for professional growth. This is a part-time or full-time role with flexible hours, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management: Develop and implement a strategic plan across all relevant platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, etc.), ensuring alignment with business goals. Create, curate, and manage engaging content to grow our online presence.
Account-Based Marketing: Collaborate with the sales team to craft and execute an account-based marketing strategy, including lead sequencing and utilizing tools like HubSpot.
Digital Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute paid campaigns on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google. Continuously monitor and optimize performance for maximum results.
Industry Insights: Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify new marketing opportunities.
Audience Segmentation: Tailor marketing campaigns to specific customer profiles for more personalized and impactful communication.
Newsletter Management: Draft and distribute monthly newsletters to keep clients and prospects informed about the latest company news, industry trends, and insights.
Website & SEO: Collaborate with website developers and eventually manage website updates and SEO to optimize our online presence.
HubSpot Management: Oversee marketing initiatives in HubSpot, managing workflows, email marketing, lead nurturing, and account-based marketing tools.
Content Strategy: Work closely with internal teams to ensure all content aligns with our overall goals and brand voice.
Performance Analytics: Track and report on key metrics to evaluate the success of marketing strategies and make data-driven adjustments.
Copywriting & Content Creation: Write and design creative, compelling content that engages our audience across all platforms.
Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on the latest social media trends and tools to keep our strategies fresh and effective.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally with account-based marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and CRM tools like HubSpot.
Marketing experience in the life sciences or a related industry.
Basic graphic design skills to support content creation.
