We are seeking experienced professionals to join our valuation team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the valuation team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional financial analysis. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of valuation theory, capital markets and financial and industry analysis, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks. J.S. Held, LLC Position: Manager (Business Valuation and Litigation Support) Description: Primary responsibilities will include financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, and assistance in preparation of valuation and other expert reports to be utilized for valuation, litigation and forensic accounting purposes. Additional activities will include managing document requests/production, building/maintaining valuation models and reports, conducting site visits and client interactions. Assistance with damages and other financial forensic engagements may be required as necessary or if interested. Qualifications Required:

+ Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting .

+ High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to analyze large data sets and simplify/translate into a visual format.

+ Valuation and related modelling experience.

+ Solid oral and written communications skills (including a bility to develop narrative valuation/expert reports and other client communication materials).

+ Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in order to meet fluctuating deadlines and pressure situations with incomplete information.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to research industry, economic, and benchmark data and apply to subject companies.

+ Ability to review, analyze and interpret company specific financial trends and performance.

+ Maintain the quality of the J.S. Held brand in all oral and written communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Hold one or more relevant professional certifications (ex. CPA , ASA , CVA , ABV , CFA , etc.), or have demonstrated progress towards obtaining certifications.

+ Familiarity with common business valuation data resources (ex. CapIQ, D&P Navigator, RMA , BV Resources, etc.).

+ The ideal candidate should be reading professional business valuation articles/journals and be current regarding trends, techniques, court rulings and how they can be incorporated into (or removed from) our practice.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

+ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

+ Ability to travel as needed
