Job Description
As a Machine Setup Operator Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for servicing and operating machines, ensuring that they are running efficiently and producing high-quality products. Your attention to detail and technical skills will contribute to the success of our production operations and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Freeport, IL location in person daily. In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by: - servicing and operating machines according to specifications and production requirements - Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal output - Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards - Assisting with troubleshooting machine issues and performing routine maintenance tasks - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities - Service and operate machines according to specifications and production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
- Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Support the Honeywell Operating System.
- Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness.
- Comply with all safety rules.
- Record and report production data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Set up and change over equipment.

YOU MUST HAVE - High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Strong Mechanical Background.
- Strong manual dexterity and good eye hand coordination required.
- Able to perform well defined visual procedures and processes often following written documentation or visual aids.
- Ability to use, after training, various injections, and compression machines.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
