Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

What’s a typical day as a General Laborer? You’ll be:

• Unloading and sampling green corn, including standing, physical exertion, pulling, pushing, twisting, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing
• Working in and around semi-trucks and trailers
• Working next to a moving belt in all weather conditions
• Keeping the immediate work area clean
• Communicating with hand signals or verbally when positioning trucks
• Collecting ear corn samples and delivering them to the sampling area
• Husking ears and shelling kernels from the cob

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Speak and understand English
• Are comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Have the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, pulling, pushing, twisting, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Are able to communicate effectively with hand signals or verbally
• Have basic computer skills and can operate equipment through HMI
• Are comfortable working at heights and ascending/descending stairs
• Have the flexibility to work alternating schedules as part of a team
