Job Description

We are looking for a Freelance Cold Weather/Fashion Accessories Designer for a top fashion brand in New York City! The Freelance Designer must have Cold Weather Accessories product classification experience, and an ability to design and develop into a variety of distribution levels. Candidate must possess a strong technical understanding of cold weather accessories, and would be responsible for managing the design and development process, ensuring they are done in a timely fashion - with strong attention to detail and proper follow-up. Gifting and packaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute product line based on design direction and line-plan provided by Senior manager.
• Proficiency in Adobe applications, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge and experience with CAD - including flat sketches and photo-real CADS.
• Responsible for creating tech packs to send overseas for sample development.
• A strong understanding of the Brand DNA.
• A self-starter, able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to deadlines and benchmarks
• 5+ years of experience 
• 4 days onsite/remote Fridays.
