Job Description

Summary

Seeking a Family Support Worker to support the Family Wellness Programs, to provide services and supports which build upon family strengths.

Duties

Provide short term in home parenting support for families seeking resources and ideas to reduce family stress
Provide support to Kinship Caregivers who are raising a child that is not biologically theirs (Grandparents/Aunts/Siblings)
Facilitate PASTA group 1 - 2 times a month
Offer resources support, child development, family support to families enrolled in Family Wellness Programs
Provide Parent Education- WILL TRAIN on this

Requirements

Bachelors degree
Valid Drivers License- must be able to drive to meet clients
Prior home visiting preferred
Trauma Informed
Understand family systems
Comfortable facilitating parenting classes
Ability to work with a team and independently
Must be able to work Tuesday evenings
