Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Entry Level Event Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the planning and execution of various events ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. This role offers a great opportunity to gain handson experience in event management and grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning Support:

    • Assist in the planning and coordination of events including meetings conferences trade shows and social events.
    • Help with the creation of event timelines agendas and logistics plans.
    • Coordinate with vendors caterers and venues to ensure all event needs are met.
  • OnSite Event Assistance:

    • Provide onsite support during events including setup registration and teardown.
    • Assist in managing event flow and ensuring adherence to the schedule.
    • Address any issues or emergencies that arise during the event promptly and effectively.
  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Maintain event documentation and records including contracts invoices and attendee lists.
    • Assist in creating and distributing event marketing materials such as invitations brochures and social media posts.
    • Conduct postevent evaluations and compile feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Customer Service:

    • Serve as a point of contact for event attendees providing information and assistance as needed.
    • Handle eventrelated inquiries via phone email and inperson communications.
    • Ensure a positive experience for all event participants through friendly and professional interactions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
