Job Summary

Working with the Department of Communications, Marketing, and Public Affairs (CMPA), the Digitial Content Mobile Manager is responsible for managing components of UT Southwestern’s patient-oriented web applications and other digital solutions.  The Mobile Manager will collaborate with CMPA teams and vendors on digital and web-related product development and management for digital and direct response initiatives.  Some of the duties will include:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (including Information Resources, communications, marketing, content creators and designers) and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution from conception through completion. 
  • Manage data feeds and connections, such as SWHR, API, GA, Epic Open Scheduling, MyCare app, etc. to ensure the accuracy of application and location details. 
  • Publish relevant content and digital communications and campus expansion roadmaps. 
  • Work with marketing-communications managers, service line leaders, physicians, and other faculty and staff to develop digital content and accurate data connections that elevate and promote service lines.

Required Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience working in digital, mobile, or technical environment.

Job Duties

  • Guides or supports advanced digital projects from ideation through execution.
  • Manages data feeds and connections, keeping the application(s) and location details up-to-date, publishing relevant content and digital communications, and publishing campus expansion roadmaps.
  • Monitors industry trends; identifies opportunities to improve existing customer- and employee-facing application(s).
  • Produces, analyzes, and set program goals, identify strategic KPIs and track performance.
  • Exhibits high attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multiple teams and departments within UT Southwestern to ensure app prioritization, optimal performance, and data accuracy.
  • Acts as a product champion to build awareness of product methodology and product scope across teams.
  • Works across teams and projects to develop, synchronize, and manage digital roadmaps.
  • Works within cross-functional team to evaluate application performance and will interface with many departments and agencies. Must be fast learner that can pivot and improve the mobile experience.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with vendors and external partners.
  • Navigates and resolves problems and escalate as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
