This company, is a manufacturing company in Frankfort, KY. Is in the industry of assembling and supplying rims for various vehicles. The shift is a Rotating 12 hour shift 8am to 8pm.
This position Typically Sets up and adjust dies and presses accurately and securely.
Prepare Dies and jig tools needed for the next production run in accordance with the production schedule and coordinate die changes.
Inspect and Maintain dies and jig tools preparing inspection standards. Completing check sheets and checking the accuracy and deterioration extent of dies and jig tools in conformity with maintenance standards.
Manufacture and repair parts for dies, jig tools, and equipment by machining parts using lathes milling machines, and other tools.
Maintain records of die maintenance details according to inspection standards.
Operate forklifts, hoists and slinging equipment during die changing and maintenance activities.
Seeking candidates with recent steady work history in manufacturing environment with prior die setting experience. Must have experience in reading and understanding structure and function drawings of dies and equipment. Also, have knowledge of hydraulic and air compressor equipment. Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50Lbs, Ability to climb stairs and ladder as well as lifting above and below shoulder height.
