Job Description



We are seeking a Print and Color Designer to join Vuori Design team! This individual will have the opportunity to bring a fresh perspective on print and color, while being responsible for supporting process. To be effective in this role, the individual must be proactive, work well in a fast-paced environment, adapt easily to change, have an eye for elevated design, and have a basic understanding of Vuori aesthetics. Qualifications



What you'll get to do:

  • Work closely with the Print and Color Manager to drive the strategic development of print and color initiatives, ensuring they align with the overall brand vision. 
  • Manage calendar for color and print deliverables in alignment with seasonal milestones. Work closely with the Color Development team to ensure accuracy and alignment with timelines and deliverables. 
  • Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive color and print strategies across departments. 
  • Conduct in-depth trend forecasting and market analysis, contributing insights that influence product design strategies. 
  • Lead the creation of seasonal color palettes, collaborating with the Print and Color Manager to ensure alignment with brand ethos and market trends. 
  • Introduce and implement new print techniques and processes to elevate the product line and improve efficiency. 
  • Work with the Print and Color Manager to make key color-related decisions and provide final approvals for color and print designs. 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the team. 
  • Support the Manager in preparing and delivering presentations to upper management, ensuring that print and color strategies are effectively communicated. 
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of digital color and print libraries, ensuring all tools and resources are up-to-date and accessible. 
  • Build art files and mill sheets to send out for development.
  • Design point person for all color and print information and communication to cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and collaborate with the execution of color match inspiration, build chip cards by fabrication, matching standards, and name seasonal colors. 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years design experience
  • Degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of textiles, artwork techniques, and fabric.
  • Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • PLM experience preferred but not required. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Positive, passionate, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 per year - $100,000 per year.
