We are seeking a Data Analyst to focus on the exploration and analysis of user behavior in UFL. You will work closely with game designers and developers to uncover actionable insights through exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing, helping to enhance both gameplay and user experience. If you have strong analytical skills and are excited about turning data into insights, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for gameplay improvement;
Develop and test hypotheses to inform gameplay decisions, user engagement strategies, and feature development;
Perform advanced segmentation of the user base to identify patterns and trends in behaviour;
Conduct A/B testing and analyze the results to drive data-informed decision making;
Collaborate with game designers and developers to provide data-driven recommendations to enhance user retention and satisfaction;
Prepare and structure datasets for deep analysis, ensuring accuracy and data quality;
Develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights and key metrics to stakeholders.
5+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field;
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets;
Strong knowledge of Python and relevant libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib;
Advanced understanding of statistics, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, regression analysis, and statistical significance (e.g., t-tests, chi-squared tests);
Experience with exploratory data analysis and hypothesis-driven approaches to problem solving;
Strong communication skills to effectively present complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have:
Experience working with ClickHouse;
Familiarity with meta-game systems, in-game economies, and user progression;
Experience working with sports analytics or game data;
Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
