Position : Software Engineer

Overview : We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team either full time or on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in PHP, AWS, Laravel, Lambda, DynamoDB, and a passion for creating innovative software solutions. You will work independently as well as collaborate with a small team of engineers to a deliver high-quality website and bidding platform(s). This role has the potential to be a direct hire, or a contract to hire basis depending on project deliverables and milestones.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, recode, and maintain software solutions using PHP for multiple sites and platforms
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and create new features and functionalities for our products
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot and debug issues, and continuously improve software performance
• Work closely with the President of the company to understand project requirements and deliver projects within set timelines

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Developer working independently on projects 
• Proficient with PHP
• Strong understanding of the Laravel framework and hosting on AWS
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Preference to individuals in Connecticut
