USAC's target compensation range for a new hire into this position is $60,000 - $88,165 USD per year. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors based on knowledge, skills, and experience, as evaluated throughout the interview process. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. We are currently seeking a dynamic and collaborative professional to serve as a Staff Compliance Analyst for the Audit and Assurance Divison.

Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Staff Compliance Analyst will perform assessments relating to the four USF support mechanisms to determine improper payments.
Responsibilities - Performing assessments to determine improper payments in accordance with applicable rules and guidelines.
- Preparing clear and concise workpapers and other communications to document the assessment procedures performed and exceptions identified.
- Communicating assessment status and results, in oral or written format, to program participants and PQA management.
- Performing project management duties over individual workload.
- Pursuing professional development opportunities, including external and internal training, and share information with co-workers to contribute to the growth and development of the Audit and Assurance Division.
- Assisting in other special projects as needed.
About You The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment and will be crucial for the success of the Audit and Assurance Divison.
- Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant technical training and certifications.
- Training or Formal Education Fields in Audit, Accounting, Finance and/or Business.
- Three (3) to Four (4) years of directly related experience.
- Ability to handle a large variety of details and work with all levels of the organization.
- Analyze and develop solutions to problems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prepare and deliver information in a clear, concise and professional manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into comprehensive insights for business stakeholder.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
