Position: Accounts Payable Manager (Remote - East Coast)

About the Role:

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our accounts payable processes, including voucher processing, vendor payments, and cash disbursement postings. You'll also play a key role in guiding and supporting our accounts payable team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve all Accounts Payable (AP) and Purchase Order (PO) vouchers prepared by the team.
Post AP and PO vouchers on a weekly basis.
Ensure accurate vendor payments and proper configuration in the bank.
Maintain reconciliations of cash accounts and ensure accuracy.
Assist in developing and implementing new procedures to enhance department workflow.
Provide training and support to both new and existing staff members.
Apply comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and internal controls in daily tasks.
Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
Collaborate effectively with others and offer solutions to meet the company's needs.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
At least five years of experience managing an accounts payable process.
Experience with CostPoint is required.
Prior experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) or clinical research organization (CRO) is preferred but not mandatory.
