We are looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant/AP Clerk who will focus on Account Payable/Accounts Receivable and other administrative duties related to the accounting and finance team. Responsibilities: Provide accounting and clerical support Assist with data entry of Accounts Payable Verify financial data in Accounts Payable system Prepare checks for vendors on weekly and ad hoc basis Communicate with vendors regarding billing discrepancies Work closely with senior accountants to maintain accurate records Perform other duties as directed Qualifications: Proficient with Microsoft Excel and AR/AP accounting software Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail High School Diploma Prefer at least one year of administrative or clerical experience in accounting and finance Benefits: Competitive compensation with internal career development A growing group of media brands with a great team environment Best training and resources in the business Medical, Dental & Vision, 401K, Vacation & Holiday time
