Responsibilities:  

• Will provide support to the rendering and renderingmaintenance team 

• Shadow equipment operators on job responsibilities and how they impact the whole process 

• Help identify ways to maximize rendering equipment yields 

• Help with general maintenance and upkeep of centrifuge and rendering equipment 

• Help with loading of trucks and railcars with rendering product 

• Ensure proper safety training and authorization has been completed 

• Communication with maintenance team to ensure routine maintenance is performed 

• Help with efforts to maximize rendering capture 

• Helping to oversee/manage the pet food department 

• Assisting team with quality testing product to make sure it is meeting customer specifications 

• Complete and present a project related to issues within the rendering department

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation: 

• $21/hour with $2,500 relocation stipend if applicable.
